Acushnet Man Campaigns for Warren on Tractor

With today’s campaign strategies using social media such as Facebook and Twitter, door-to-door campaigning is almost obsolete. But don’t tell that to John Howcroft of Acushnet, who spends his afternoons stumping for Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren on a 1949 Ford 8-N tractor, with a “Warren for Senate” sign taped onto either side.
Howcroft says his unique neighborhood canvassing effort brings politics back to a personal level.

Howcroft, a lifelong Democrat and political activist, believes Elizabeth Warren is the choice candidate for Acushnet, and says she will fight to restore the middle class to a thriving status, while also working for women’s rights and keeping student loan interest rates at a minimum.
And for those reasons, John Howcroft will continue to campaign until election day is through.
