YWCA Completes Under One Roof Project [Townsquare Sunday]

When Gail Fortes last appeared on Townsquare Sunday almost two years ago, the Under One Roof project was only an idea on paper.  After a $4 million fund-raising campaign and great support from the community, the restoration and new construction is now complete at the YWCA headquarters on South Sixth Street. Fortes stops by Townsquare Sunday this week to discuss the project and what it means for her agency and the community it serves.  She also outlines some of the YWCA's other programs like Youth/Police Dialogues and more.

Townsquare Sunday airs each Sunday morning at 6am on 1420 WBSM.  It's an hour-long public affairs program that highlights individuals and organizations working to improve the quality of life in the region.  If you miss the broadcast, interview segments can be heard on wbsm.com, the WBSM App, and on YouTube at WBSM-TV.
