It's not the Hogwarts Express, but Harry Potter fans will be seeing a magical train throughout the Boston area this spring.

Amtrak has announced a partnership with Broadway that brought about the creation of a Harry Potter decorated train running routes across the Northeast.

So if you think you see wizards with wands flying by you, you may not be wrong.

The trains are designed with images from the Broadway show 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' and show a grown up Harry along with his son Albus, appearing to face off with Draco Malfoy and his son, Scorpius.

On the flip side of the engine is Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley with their daughter, Rose Granger-Weasley.

There's also a swirling clock design behind the characters, giving those who watch this train fly by feel like they might be time traveling themselves.

You won't find this Amtrak at Platform 9 3/4 however, it is merely stopping along the Northeast Corridor from Washington D.C. to Boston.

It does mean Harry Potter fans in Southern New England have lots of opportunity to see the themed trains up close and of course ride them.

Amtrak says part of the reason for these magical trains are a rewards program that could earn riders tickets to see the 'Cursed Child' Broadway play. Each time riders travel the Northeast Corridor they earn points that can be saved up and eventually redeemed for tickets to see Potter on stage in New York City.

There will be four specially wrapped 'Curse Child' trains in the Northeast for the foreseeable future, so hopefully plenty of Potter fans get to see them fly by.

Three Harry Potter Overnights Available in Salem

When you think Salem, you probably think witches - so why not wizards too?
Clearly some people have wizards on their minds when spending the night in this historic town and Airbnb renters have plenty of options for those travelers. Three different 'Harry Potter' themed rentals are in Salem, though some clearly Potter better than others.
