Everything You Need to Know About the 2026 Boston Pizza Festival at City Hall Plaza
No matter how you slice it, you've got to love pizza, right? Everyone loves pizza. Flat crust, puffy crust, New York style, Chicago style, deep dish, even frozen – there are all kinds of pizza.
There is a slice of pizza for every slice of life.
How cool would it be if there was a festival dedicated exclusively to pizza? Well, there is, and it's happening soon.
The 9th annual Boston Pizza Festival is Saturday and Sunday, September 19 and 20, 2026, at Boston City Hall Plaza from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

What to Expect From Over 30 New England and Italian Pizzerias
MassLive reported the Boston Pizza Festival will "feature pizza demonstrations, live entertainment, and more than 30 pizzerias from throughout New England and Italy."
That's enough to make Anthony give up Prince spaghetti!

Festival Details and Ticket Information
The Boston Pizza Festival website says, "This year's Boston Pizza Festival has a $10 entry fee, which includes two pizza slice tickets (any toppings)." You must purchase a ticket to enter the event.
Tickets purchased in advance are $10 each or $15 if purchased the day of the event. Additional slice ticket packages are available for purchase at the event or online.
Getting to Boston City Hall Plaza Without the Parking Hassle
Parking around Boston City Hall can be tricky, and what is available could be expensive, especially if there is a pizza fest going on.
If it were me, South Coast Rail makes a great option from New Bedford, Fall River, and Taunton. You can catch the Red Line from South Station to Park or Downtown Crossing and walk the short distance to City Hall.
However you decide to get there, buon appetito!
