Happy Wet Nose Wednesday! It's time to talk dogs.

The love from an animal is the best feeling in the world, and it breaks my heart to think about the hundreds of animals waiting in SouthCoast shelters for a family.

Every week, we team up with a shelter to spotlight one lucky animal in hopes of finding the perfect forever family. This week, we head to Fall River where an 8-month-old puppy is waiting.

Meet Reba, an 8-month-old Rottweiler mix residing at Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River.

She came from a rescue down south, and ever since she arrived, she has been a ray of sunshine.

"She's affectionate, easygoing and loves absolutely everybody she meets," the shelter said. "She is everything good in the world, and the moment you meet her, you'll understand."

Reba is a giant love bug. She's great with kids, cats and other dogs, and she would truly thrive in almost any type of home.

She's silly, she's cuddly, and she brings positivity to any situation.

Does she shed? Yes, but the shedding is worth the amount of love that she'll bring to any home.

Does Reba sound like a good fit for you and your family? Contact Forever Paws online and fill out the adoption application. Email it to fpas1@foreverpaws.com or fax it to 508-677-9175.

Reba cannot wait to meet you.

If SouthCoast Dogs Had a Dating App, It Would Look Something Like This

August 26 is International Dog Day, and it got me thinking. What if there was a way for dogs to connect with other dogs in the area to make new friends? Or maybe even find love? Twenty-six dogs living on the SouthCoast sent me their profile picture and bio. Let's see the eligible pups.
