The Friends of Westport Library have on store more than 10,000 books, CDs, and DVDs for people to browse and purchase at their annual sale.

According to South Coast Today.com, the library’s fiction section is massive, with many recent best-sellers. The sale will include 20 well-stocked categories with particularly large selections in fiction, history, biography, young adult, children, cookbooks, and home décor.

Children’s books will be on sale for only 25 cents each. All other books will be priced around $1 to $2 each.

On Friday, September 9, a preview night will be held for members of the Friends of Westport Library from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitors can purchase a membership at the door, which is $10 for an individual and $20 for the family.

The Westport Library is located at 408 Old County Road in Westport, and the opening day for the book sale will be Saturday, September 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the Community Room. The sale continues during library hours in the following week. The last day for the sale will be Saturday, September 17, and will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
