Friday, February 8 marks the first annual Westport Girls Basketball Charity Night. This year, they have chosen the "100 Club of Massachusetts". The club, founded in 1959, assists the families of fallen police officers and firefighters in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts by providing much needed financial assistance, scholarships, vocational guidance, and even assistance towards summer camp for children and families of fallen police officers and firefighters of the Commonwealth.

"Through our support at the community level, the Westport Lady Cats are endeavoring to support the programs and services that give families of these fallen heroes the support they need through great organizations like the 100 Club of Massachusetts."

Join the Westport Wildcats on Friday, February 8 at 5 pm at Westport Junior/Senior high School for a basketball game against the Bishop Connolly Cougars. There will be a raffle, food, and more. The girls are excited for the chance to give back and to continue to learn the true value of community service.
