Massachusetts and Rhode Island Drive-In Theaters to Experience
NEW BEDFORD (WBSM) — While movies can be enjoyed any time of the year, there's a certain magic in watching the latest release under the twinkling stars, a unique experience only a drive-in theater can offer.
Drive-in theaters were once a staple across the country.
However, their number has dwindled over the years, making the discovery of one feel like a rare and special find.
Unfortunately, there aren't any drive-in theaters on the South Coast. Thankfully, a few nearby can suffice with a bit of traveling.
We listed local drive-in theaters and some of their expectations, hoping to make future movie night decisions easier.
