The country is coming together to show their support for officers today on National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.

"Law Enforcement Officers of every rank and file have chosen a profession that puts their life on the line every day for their communities. They’ve answered a call to public service that is demanding and often unappreciated. On National Law Enforcement Day, we have an opportunity to thank them for their service and offer a token of respect."

"To observe this day, send a note of thanks to your local, county or state police agency. Wear blue, turn your social media channels blue or shine a blue porch light to show your support." While there are many ways to celebrate and observe this special day, we're pretty sure we hit this one out of the park. I mean, who turns down a doughnut? (Especially if they were donated by The Donut Factory in New Bedford).

The Fairhaven Police Department was wicked excited when we stopped in with the treats earlier today. (Although their 2018 goals were none too pleased)

"Thank you 1420 WBSM and Fun 107!! The New Years Resolution torment is real! A law enforcement appreciation gift from our local radio station. Donuts from New Bedford’s Rockdale Avenue Donut Factory for the “start my diet in an hour” win! They are AMAZING! So worth it."

Thank you to all who protect and serve us each and every day. 1420 WBSM and FUN 107 are grateful to have you watching over us.
