One of basketball's most impressive records has been matched.

After handing the San Antonio Spurs their first home loss of the season, in a 92-86 road win, the Golden State Warriors have officially tied the 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls for most wins in a single season with 72.

Golden State still has one final game on their regular season schedule to try and pass that historic Bulls team's unprecedented mark.

That game will come Wednesday night, when they host the Memphis Grizzlies, who they narrowly squeaked past Saturday on the road. After struggling to score as they normally do, Golden State put together a fourth quarter comeback to knock off the Grizz, 100-99.

Aside from having a potential single season wins record on their resume, the Warriors are also the defending NBA champions. They are also the clear front-runner to repeat this season.
