As the Boston Celtics trek onward through the playoffs, Brad Stevens is being honored in a big way.

Stevens, the team's president of basketball operations, has been named 2023-2024 NBA Basketball Executive of the Year. This accolade not only recognizes Stevens' exceptional leadership but highlights the collective effort and dedication of the entire Celtics organization.

Previously the Celtics' head coach for eight seasons, Stevens transitioned to president in June 2021. He has led the team to great success, taking it to the top of the NBA.

Reflecting on his recognition, Stevens expressed gratitude for the Celtics' ownership group. He emphasized the pivotal role played by every member of the organization, from players and coaches to front-office staff and support personnel.

"This recognition has everything to do with the team, and nothing to do with any one individual," Stevens said. "Great teams require that everyone in the building is fully committed to each other and moving in one direction."
