WAREHAM — Wareham Police say they may be looking for two men involved in an armed robbery Monday night at a liquor store in West Wareham.

A clerk at Pepin's Liquors on Cranberry Highway told police that a lone male wearing a blue handkerchief over part of his face entered the liquor store armed with a firearm and demanded cash.

The robber was described as a heavyset black man, around 5-9, wearing a large blue puffy winter coat.

Police later determined that after leaving the store, the robber was joined by another man in the parking lot, and both walked towards Cranberry Highway.

Police set up a perimeter around the area and called in a K-9 unit from the Plymouth County Sheriff's Department, but neither suspect was found.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Wareham Police Department.
