‘Sopranos’ Star Vincent Pastore Is Back in Rhode Island for a New Project
Last year, Sopranos star Vincent Pastore received the keys to the City of Cranston from Mayor Kenneth Hopkins, himself.
He was in town supporting a fundraiser for The Hearts of Knightsville, a thoughtful documentary that explores the ties between the sister cities of Itri, Italy and Cranston, Rhode Island.
Pastore was spotted back in town last week, unlocking the doors to the city to drop by St. Mary’s Society.
Here’s what we know about his latest visit.

Sopranos Star Has Ties to Cranston, Rhode Island
Bernadette Conte is the author of The Heart of Knightsville. It’s her book that inspired the upcoming documentary of the same name, directed by Tom Denucci. As the producer of the film, Conte has become close with the film’s narrator, Vincent Pastore.
Vincent Pastore is best known for his role as Salvatore Bonpensiero in the HBO series The Sopranos. A larger than life Italian mobster with a nickname that’s not safe for work, Pastore was a staple on the show for two seasons.
As a proud Italian, Pastore was the perfect fit to take viewers along the journey of Knightsville and its rich Italian history.

“He was here filming,” she told Fun 107.
As far as the other details that were given, that has to remain under wraps for a few more weeks, but from the sound of it, Pastore is gearing up for another project that required a trip to the Ocean State.
