UMass Dartmouth Featured in New Amazon TV Series
UMass Dartmouth has gone Hollywood. The SouthCoast's biggest university is featured in a new Amazon television series called The College Tour.
The show gives viewers an in-depth look at academic and social life at the school.
It fills an important gap as prospective students increasingly turn to platforms like YouTube for virtual tours. While college-sanctioned tours provide valuable insight, students might wonder what’s being filtered out to present campus life as rosy as possible.

That’s one reason why student-made YouTube tours have gained popularity. While these videos can be helpful, they are often difficult to watch due to a lack of professional production quality.
Enter The College Tour.
The Amazon series offers the best of both worlds. While independent of the colleges and universities it spotlights, it is also produced by professionals.
In an upcoming episode, The College Tour follows 10 UMass Dartmouth students, providing a realistic glimpse into life inside Ring Road.
The featured students include Apeksha Prasai, Clivens Joseph, Conner Robidoux, Dominik Aguilar, Jesseley Gomes, Logan Wornham, Jackie Sassin, and Kailey Sousa from Acushnet, as well as Parker Sowersby from Somerset and Nathan Upchurch from Tiverton.
The UMass Dartmouth episode is set to premiere on Amazon the day after Memorial Day, May 27, 2025. However, you can watch it right now on the UMass Dartmouth website. The show is hosted by Amazing Race winner Alex Boylan.
For years to come, UMass Dartmouth prospective students will be able to watch this video to get a good feel for what college life is like at UMD.
