Two New Bedford Men Arrested Following Argument

NEW BEDFORD — Two New Bedford men were arrested Sunday afternoon after each claimed the other pulled out a weapon.

New Bedford Police responded to 213 Smith Street around noon time to a call in which two men were involved in an argument.

Joseph Kwesi Clement, 34, of New Bedford stated to police that during the argument Justin Jordan, 28, also of New Bedford displayed a knife.

Jordan also informed officers that Clement displayed a firearm.

Both individuals were arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.

No weapons were recovered at the scene.
