Two Drug Arrests in New Bedford Thursday

NEW BEDFORD - New Bedford Police arrested two men on drug charges in separate instances Thursday.

Police say just after 3:30 p.m., Nicolau Ribeiro, 43, of New Bedford, was arrested in the area of 495 North Front Street for possession of a small amount of crack-cocaine.

Just over an hour later, police arrested Michael Andrews, 30, of New Bedford, in the area of 73 Bullard Street after he was found in possession of a small amount of fentanyl and a knife.

Both men face drug charges.
