
Twenty-Three Million Living With Diabetes In U.S.

It’s World Diabetes Day and health officials are urging people to take steps to prevent the debilitating disease.
More than 23-million people in the U.S. are living with the diabetes and by the end of the day today, about 41-hundred more will be diagnosed. In fact, stats show someone is diagnosed with diabetes every 20 seconds in America.
But health officials say the disease can be prevented and managed with healthy eating habits and consistent exercise. (Metro Networks Inc)
