Donald Trump is content with his second place finish in the Iowa caucuses.

Speaking to reporters in New Hampshire, Trump played up the fact that he initially wasn't expected to do well in Iowa, but ended up in the runner-up spot.

In the days leading up to the caucuses he was ahead of Texas Senator Ted Cruz in the polls, but Trump says those numbers might have given people a false expectation.

The real estate mogul admitted that missing the last debate might have given Cruz the victory in Iowa. However, he says he wouldn't change a thing because his rival event ended up raising millions for veterans.

Trump also earned an endorsement from former Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown.  {Metro Networks Inc.}
