Norfolk DA Michael Morrissey says the Massachusetts State Trooper who fatally shot  41-year-old  Wilfredo Justiniano of New Bedford last June was justified in firing his weapon.

The DA's office clears the trooper from wrongdoing in a report they say includes interviews of six civilians witnessing at least part of the incident.

They say the interviews as well as forensic evidence and a medical examiner's review are consistent with the story told by police.
