He's a seven-time Super Bowl Champion, a 15-time Pro Bowler, two-time NFL Offensive Player of the Year and five-time Super Bowl MVP. He also holds NFL records for passing yards, passing touchdowns, game-winning drives, regular season wins and many, many more.
Don't forget his playoff accolades including most appearances, wins, passing TDs, are you still reading these? The list goes on and on.
Tom Brady is the G.O.A.T. for a reason and now he's adding another title to his resumé: owner of CardVault, a local business specializing in trading cards and sports memorabilia.
Sports Trading Cards Can Fetch Thousands
Brady has plenty of trading cards featuring his likeness, including a 2000 Playoff Contenders Tom Brady Championship Ticket Autograph Rookie Card #144 which sold for $3,107,372.40 back in June of 2021.
Other top cards include a 2017 Patrick Mahomes Autographed Rookie Card valued at $4.3 million, a Wayne Gretzky 1979 rookie card went for $3.75 million and a unique 1980 triple card featuring the like of Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Julius Erving which is valued at $600,000.
The most spent on an individual sports card was in 2022 when a 1952 Mickey Mantle baseball card went for $12.6 million.

An Uptick in Popularity During COVID
The business began during the pandemic and quickly took off. Brady clearly sees a long future ahead as he recently purchased a 50 percent stake in the company.

The acquisition did come with a catch of sorts; the company is now named "CardVault by Tom Brady." Why not? He's a huge name with a big following, so why not capitalize?
