See Tom Brady’s Foxoboro Statue — If You Have a Game Ticket
It has been nearly a quarter of a century since Tom Brady's size 13 cleats gripped the turf for keeps at Foxboro Stadium. It was Week 3 of the 2001 NFL Season, one which will live in infamy. Starting quarterback Drew Bledsoe was severely injured in action. Brady got the call. The rest is, as they say, history.
Upon Brady's retirement from the NFL, New England Patriots owner Bob Kraft promised a 12-foot bronze statue of him would be erected the following season near the Patriots' Hall of Fame, just outside the gates of Gillette Stadium.
It didn't happen. Something about scheduling, yadda, yadda, but now the moment has arrived.
When and Where Will the Brady Statue Be Unveiled?
The long-anticipated unveiling of the statue honoring the seven-time Super Bowl champion (six with New England and one with Tampa) will finally happen on Friday, August 8, 2025 at Patriot Place.
As far as I know, few have seen the statue or know what it looks like, so anticipation fills the air.

Don't plan to be there for the unveiling, however, unless you have a ticket to the preseason opener against the Washington Commanders.
How to See the Brady Statue Unveiling
The Gillette Stadium Ticket Office told me in an email, "All guests who plan on attending the Tom Brady statue unveiling will be required to have a game ticket for the August 8th game vs. the Washington Commanders."
It doesn't matter that the Hall of Fame and the Tom Brady statue are outside the stadium; only ticket holders will be allowed access. You, like me, will have to wait another day to see the G.O.A.T. in all of his bronzed glory.
