Tiverton Restaurant Offers Lobster Roll for Lost Stuffed Dog’s Return
TIVERTON (WBSM) — It’s not every day that a restaurant puts out a social media post about a missing dog, but that’s exactly what Macray’s Seafood in Tiverton, Rhode Island did this morning.
Macray’s Sweetens the Search with Lobster Roll Reward
Macray’s is trying to help “one of (its) favorite young customers” that lost a beloved stuffed dog, and the restaurant is offering a free lobster roll to whoever finds it, according to its Facebook post.

Why This Stuffed Dog Means So Much
The stuffed dog, a husky that came from Ikea, is named “Kada (pronounced Kay-duh) Helen Didums,” recently went missing. Kada’s owner “is devastated,” according to the post. I can’t even remember how many times we’d have to go back to a store or a restaurant because my son had left his Pablo the Penguin (from the TV show Backyardigans) behind. Usually, those return trips were preceded by a desperate telephone call hoping for the good news that Pablo had been found. I’m pretty sure at one point we even had to replace the penguin with a new one.
Be on the Lookout for Kada
Kada is described as “gray, white and grunge” and about nine inches tall, and “approximately seven years old.”
Anyone who finds Kada Helen Didums should call (401) 215-6528.

Although bringing a kid back together with their beloved stuffed pup should be all the reward anyone needs, the free lobster roll is pretty enticing, too. Macray’s recently finished in the top five of the best lobster rolls in the Greater Fall River area in a Herald News poll.
