The Huffington Post reported that both Kylie and Kendall Jenner have filed to trademark their famous names. TMZ noted that they filed the applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office back in April.

The application states that the moniker is only to be used by them for "entertainment in the nature of providing information by means of a global computer network in the fields of entertainment, fashion and pop culture; entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a celebrity, actress and model."

What does it mean for them if it were to pass? Basically, no other celebrity could use just "Kylie" or just "Kendall" for publicity. Anyone else would have to go by their full name!

They also filed applications to trademark both "Kendall & Kylie" and "Kendall and Kylie."

I'm all for young women making a name for themselves, but that doesn't mean taking the name from other women who bare the same moniker. Come on Jenners, not even you could be that narcissistic.
