Thousands of people flooded Union Street Thursday evening to get a look at nearly 500 classic cars during downtown's annual 50's Night.

Now in it's 23rd year, the night is a chance for people to relive one of the most memorable decades of the past century. Omer had a car on display and says the night is a great time to catch up with friends...

Cars were lined up and down Union and Purchase Streets and along numerous side streets. Entertainment also included live music and dancing plus plenty of food.

All proceeds from 50's Night will be donated to Mercy Meals and More and the Salvation Army.
