Jarome Iginla scored the game-winning goal with 6:28 left in overtime as the Bruins beat the Red Wings 3-2 to take a commanding lead in their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series at Joe Louis Arena.
Torey Krug and Milan Lucic both scored in regulation as Boston erased a 2-0 deficit.
Tuukka Rask made 35 saves for the B's, who lead the best-of-seven set three games to one and can close out the series at home on Saturday.
The Bruins can win the series if they take Game Five tomorrow afternoon in Boston.
