The Best Spots on the SouthCoast to Take a Fall Photo
It’s the middle of October and we’re trying to plan our fall-themed photos. Whether you’re looking to have family portraits done, engagement pictures to be taken, or just want an epic fall selfie, we are pretty sure we know all the spots you need to consider for your next photoshoot in autumn.
My twin sister asked me to take photos of her, her husband, and her son to potentially use for Christmas cards later this year. It might seem too early to start thinking about Christmas, but it’s probably better to go out now before it gets too cold. It was unseasonably warm the day we went out to take the photos, so it was perfectly comfortable.
I started researching the best spots to get some fall foliage in the shot. My brother-in-law knew about a trail in Dartmouth, so we made a stop there. Honestly, I forgot about all the wonderful reserves we are lucky enough to have in this area and I wish I took more opportunities to explore them. You can even get your pup included in the photos as long as they are on a leash. Definitely worth remembering if you get the chance.
Take a look at all the spots we’ve come up with for your next fall-themed photos. Are you ready for your closeup?
Special thanks to Frank C. Grace at Trig Photography for contributing a couple of photos for this fun project.
