Telethon Raises $1 Million

WBSM and FUN107 were honored to be a part of a historic media event Saturday night that touched the hearts of thousands of area children. WPRI 12's 40th Annual Meeting Street and Schwartz Center Telethon that took place in two locations - Providence and Dartmouth. The goal for the telethon was to raise $1 million. And at the end of the night, the donations totaled $1,078,520!

The funds raised will benefit local families and help achieve the mission of "getting the best out of every child." Both the Schwartz Center and Meeting House are places where infants, preschoolers, and children of all ages receive individual attention from highly trained educators.
