
Fatal Raynham Crash Claims Life of Taunton Woman Wednesday Night
RAYNHAM (WBSM) — A Taunton woman was killed in a motor vehicle crash Wednesday night in Raynham.
Emergency Response to King Philip Street
Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III said that Raynham Police and Taunton Police were dispatched to the area of King Philip Street and Gardiner Street at about 8 p.m. on July 1.
They arrived to find a single motor vehicle with obvious damage had gone down a steep slope into the woods.

Quinn said the driver and sole occupant, identified as Maura Whittemore, 54, of Taunton, had suffered significant injury and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Multi-Agency Crash Investigation Underway
The crash remains under investigation by Raynham Police, Taunton Police, and Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the D.A.’s Office.
