New Bedford Police say a Star Cab dropping off a fare on Linden Street early Wednesday morning was rammed by another vehicle. After the car struck the cab, the driver of the vehicle got out and smashed a window of the taxi with a hammer before getting back into his car and driving away.

A cab driver is under arrest after allegedly leaving the scene of an accident.
