Sutter Names Fall River Transition Team

Fall River Mayor-elect Sam Sutter has named an eight member transition team as he moves from the Office of District Attorney to Mayor.

Sutter's transition team will be chaired by retired Raynham Police Chief Lou Pacheco, who is Sutter's director of operations in the D-A's office.

Also on the team are former Fall River Mayors Carlton Viveiros and Robert Correia.

Other members are Fall River School Committee member Melissa Panchley, banker Joan Medeiros, Attorney and former City Councilor Brad Kilby, his Chief of Staff in the D-A's office Lisa Kaminski, and businessman Joseph Marshall.

Sutter tells the Herald News, the transition process could take several months to fully complete.
