Suspect Arrested in Purchase Street Shooting
New Bedford Police have made an arrest in connection with a recent shooting.
Thirty-two-year-old Christopher Adamides of Bullard Street was arrested by detectives on Tuesday, October 1, after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Police say Adamides took part in a shooting in the vicinity of 250 Purchase Street on September 28 where one man was shot. Further details were not made available.
Police spokesman Lt. Nathaniel Rodriguez says police continue to actively investigate shooting incidents on Purchase Street and Ruth Street and additional arrests are expected.
