A North Andover High School student is being punished for doing the right thing.

Two weeks ago, Erin Cox responded to a call from a friend saying she was at a party and too drunk to drive. Cox arrived at the party completely sober just as the police showed up to arrest several teens for underage drinking. Cox isn't facing any charges, but has been suspended from the volleyball team and demoted as its captain under the school's zero-tolerance policy.

An attorney for the Cox family is trying to get the school's decision reversed. Cox's mother says her daughter did nothing wrong, and that she's proud of her.
