A New Orleans man has been returned to Massachusetts to face charges of rape and sexual assault against a 15-year-old girl on Cape Cod.

Cape & Islands District Attorney Robert J. Galibois announced today that Alexander Keen Grant, also known as Keen Grant and Eric Raymond, 55, of New Orleans was returned to Massachusetts through the rendition process after fleeing the Commonwealth in 2014.

Grant was ordered held without bail.

2012 Yarmouth Investigation and Allegations

The charges date back to June 2012, when Yarmouth Police began investigating a report of sexual assault. At that time, Grant was staying with family members in Yarmouth and allegedly provided alcohol and made sexually inappropriate comments to a girl who was 15 years old at the time. He then allegedly placed his hands on her body and forced her hand onto a part of his body. Later that night, he allegedly entered her bedroom and sexually assaulted her, reportedly commenting on how the victim was attractive and mature.

11 Years on the Run: The Mass. State Police Most Wanted List

On November 12, 2014, Grant was scheduled to face three counts of aggravated rape of a child and two counts of indecent assault and battery on a person over 14 years old in Barnstable Superior Court. However, he failed to appear and a warrant was issued for his arrest. For the next 11 years, he remained at large, and was placed on the Massachusetts State Police Most Wanted List.

Grant was arrested on unrelated charges in New Orleans on February 6, 2026, using the name Eric Raymond. He was identified and confirmed as Grant; the D.A.’s Office said that while living in Louisiana, he married a woman and fathered a child using the Eric Raymond alias.

Grant is next scheduled to appear in Barnstable Superior Court for a pretrial hearing on September 22.
