Stephen Drew is returning to the Red Sox.

CBS Sports reports the shortstop has signed for the rest of the season and will earn $10-million, the prorated portion of the $14.1-million qualifying offer he rejected last offseason.

Drew hit .253 with 13 home runs with Boston in 2013. Drew became a free agent after the World Series, but received no offers, till the Red Sox stepped in.  (Metro Networks Inc.)
