Stabbing Reported Early Sunday

Police responded to a report of a stabbing early Sunday at Harborview Towers in Downtown New Bedford.

According to Police, shortly after 4am officers found a woman who was suffering from a stab wound to the neck.  A suspect was later taken into custody.  No names were released.

Police said the wounds did not appear to be life threatening.  The investigation is ongoing. .
