UFOs have been in the news quite a bit lately, and there have been recent sightings of them in the skies over the SouthCoast.

Now commonly referred to by officials as UAPs – Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, which has less of a stigma to it than the long-used UFO – they were once again the subject of a recent congressional hearing.

Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Government Innovation Chairwoman Nancy Mace (R-South Carolina) and Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs Chairman Glenn Grothman (R-Wisconsin) recently held a joint hearing titled “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Exposing the Truth.”

It was the second congressional hearing on UAPs, and it called for the government to release to release more of the UAP imagery it is supposedly keeping under wraps, and for NASA to conduct a more thorough investigation into the topic.

Meanwhile, there’s no shortage of UFO – ahem, UAP – sightings over Southeastern Massachusetts. We’ve compiled the latest for you.
