SouthCoast Charity Friends of Jack Launches Clothing Line to Help Sick Kids

There's a new way to show your support for a local organization that helps children.

The Friends of Jack Foundation has launched merch for the very first time.

"We've been asked so many times over the years if we sell Friends of Jack merchandise like t-shirts and sweatshirts, and I've unfortunately had to say no because we hadn't yet found the right vendor," Friends of Jack President Jilline Fearons said.

"Imagine how excited I was to finally be able to launch this online store and offer Friends of Jack clothing to all of our supporters," she said.

For a limited time, t-shirts, sweatshirts and more will be available for purchase on the Friends of Jack Foundation's website with 100 percent of the proceeds going directly to the cause.

What Is the Friends of Jack Foundation?

In 2019, Fearons experienced some stressful hospital stays with her son, Jack. Recognizing a need for more programs and specialists dedicated to helping with healthcare situations, Fearons took it upon herself to create change.

Thus, the Friends of Jack Foundation was born.

The foundation 'organizes overlooked healthcare-focused programs for children in the greater SouthCoast region of Massachusetts.'

From its hero bears to therapy cars and comfort dogs, the foundation has been able to help many children and their families navigate stressful, scary and confusing times.

Helping the Foundation

In the past, there have been many ways to support the organization. The popular Food for Tots program is one that Fun 107 has proudly been a part of for years.

There are many other year-round events like the tutu challenge, toy drive, annual gala and more.

Available Merchandise

From now until Monday, August 18, you can show your support by purchasing t-shirts, sweatshirts (hooded and crewneck), polos and even a travel blanket on the online shop, with 100 percent of the proceeds going straight to the Friends of Jack mission.

"I'm looking forward to seeing people in our community wearing the Friends of Jack logo day to day," Fearons said.
