South End Crash Injures One Person

A two-car collision on Cove Road in the South End Thursday afternoon sent one person to the hospital.

South End Police say the crash happened just before 4pm.

A spokesman says a car was leaving the Burger King parking lot when it collided with a second vehicle.

One person was taken to St. Luke's Hospital, but his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening. No names have been released.

Traffic in the area was backed up for a time and both cars were towed from the scene.  Police continue to investigate.
