Ski Season Still Going Strong

The calendar may say spring but the snow skiing season is at it's best.  

This weekend I had the chance to hop in the car and head to Waterville Valley ski area and ski in some of the best conditions.  The temperatures on the Southcoast were flirting with 60-degrees on Saturday but at the top of the mountain it was a mid-winter 17 degrees!  The base depths of snow on the many trails is between 30 and 36 inches and more snow is on the way.  While we were skiing on Saturday it snowed

another inch making the conditions even better. This has been a very long winter and even though we want it to be over now might be a good time to pack the family in the car and head north to get a couple more runs in.  The mountains are slowing down now so the lines for the lifts are light and you can zip right back up the mountain.
