New Skechers Store at Dartmouth Mall Celebrates Grand Opening

It’s time to go shopping.

The new Skechers store is officially open in Dartmouth Mall, and Fun 107 got the first look at Dartmouth’s newest shoe store.

Back in June, we shared the exciting news that PREIT, the parent company of the Dartmouth Mall, was bringing in Skechers to the collection of 60 stores. It takes up 10,000 square feet and can be found adjacent to Party City, where Pier 1 Imports used to be. Just stop at the giant “Now Open” sign.

From the looks of it, the new Skechers store is state-of-the-art and ready for its first day of customers.

And Skechers knows how to reel in the customers. The store is kicking off its grand opening with 50% off your second pair of shoes.

Two is always better than one.

Bringing in Skechers and other new stores like Zumiez and ALDI is all a part of PREIT’S mission to make Dartmouth Mall a hot-spot destination for SouthCoast shoppers.

We’re all fans of online shopping, but there are some items you just have to try on for yourself, and shoes are definitely in that category. If you have been holding on to Visa gift cards since the holidays, this may be your sign to treat yourself to a new pair of shoes. Or two.

Thanks to artificial intelligence and advances in 3D mapping, Google Maps is slowly rolling out a new feature called immersive view, allowing users to go inside buildings. It looks like Dartmouth Mall is one of the first places in the area to use the new technology, thanks to images from 2017.
