WASHINGTON, D.C. - Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson is in Washington, D.C., this morning.

Hodgson will testify before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary's Subcommittee on Immigration and Border Security, highlighting his written report on the dangers of illegal immigration and sanctuary cities. Sheriff Hodgson will answer questions from Republicans and Democrats on the subcommittee. The hearing begins at 10:30 a.m and can be viewed here.

On Wednesday, U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions and other law enforcement officials will convene at the Department of Homeland Security to discuss illegal immigration enforcement, with a similar conference taking place Thursday at the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee.
