He came as a sensible, middle-of-the-road candidate. A purple Democrat, or a palatable representative in the most vulnerable congressional district for Democrats, Massachusetts' Ninth. The Ninth District runs from Quincy, and hugs the South Shore for some 15 miles in width or so and then gets wider as it goes south. It expands west to New Bedford and east, covering the entire Cape Cod and Islands.

He wore purple because it served him. Fifty-five percent of the voters believed he would keep that coat on.

Rep. William Keating has been very careful to not give political opponents any one particular issue from which to launch a challenge. Former Bristol County District Attorney and former Fall River Mayor Sam Sutter, launched a very rudderless challenge to Keating in a boring primary, and a couple of under-funded Republicans have presented an option, but he has had it easy, if we're being honest.

His purple coat was tugged on by a Republican colleague in the House and his true colors are yet to be clearly identified but another one was revealed when Congressman Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) presented a bill which would make it permanently illegal for undocumented aliens to vote in the United States, and all nine of the Massachusetts House delegation voted "nay" in support of immigrant's rights. To be clear, in support of illegal immigrant's rights.

His coat is brilliant. William and the Amazing Chameleon Dreamcoat. Kind of like that horse in the Wizard of Oz's Emerald City, it changes color at will.

No sooner than the threat was made by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to moderate Democrats that they better vote with the far-left as they're told "or else," Keating was in line at Lowe's buying all shades of blue. Deep blue, sky blue, royal blue, baby blue, Cambridge blue (it's a thing), true blue, midnight blue, sapphire, any color blue you want. Hell, he'll even fly exclusively with JetBlue if it pleases Nancy Pelosi and Ocasio-Cortez.

Congressman Keating has seen the power move by the radical left and he is clearly in fear of it. He saw his friend and colleague Mike Capuano tossed out in the Seventh District by Ayanna Pressley, a far left radical now in Congress. He also observed another "safe seat" in New York fall to the upstart freshman Ocasio-Cortez, who defeated Joe Crowley in the New York 14th.

Keating has picked a side and it's his side. His seat is what matters to him most, not the well-being of our nation. That is now a truth forever.

And if you're somehow indignant with my rant here, Congressman? Suck it up. Go find your spine and maybe go back and re-think where your loyalties lie. I have never once given you a hard time since you came to office. In fact, I've aired some compliments on your performance from within your party. But that is over. You've declared war on the sovereignty of the American voter.

I am publicly angry with you. I'm also ashamed of you and you will not see me rest until you are out of that seat. As a patriot, I see your vote as disgusting and hypocritical.

Again, I have not once spoken out against Congressman Keating, but folks, we are looking at the coward of the county, or the district. I can almost promise you he didn't want to vote against that bill. That's what makes it worse. The Massachusetts Ninth is over 90 percent white. The Hispanic vote is at about 4.2 percent. He wasn't under any local pressure. Actually, I'm betting most Hispanic voters in the Ninth would want him to vote for Crenshaw's bill. The will of the Massachusetts Ninth District was most certainly not represented here.

So, Democrats in the last week are showing you this: they want a complete collapse of the United States' direction exclusively being decided by U.S. citizens. They are also showing a desire to destabilize our nation and society by trying to bring about votes from 16-year-old children.

As for you Democratic supporters who cry about concern for Trump/Russian collusion, cry me a river. Your entire party just openly supported foreign influence over our elections last week. Save your BS concern for that, please. It rings hollow today.

Hey Bill, AOC just called, she wants her coffee and donuts at her office by 8 a.m. tomorrow—or else.
