
Seekonk Police Recover Stolen Dirt Bikes Worth $70,000
SEEKONK — Police have recovered around $70,000 worth of high-end dirt bikes that were stolen in a series of thefts from a Seekonk store in a crime spree that authorities believe may be related to gang activity.
According to police, detectives were investigating several recent burglaries at Motorsports Nation on Progress Street when they discovered the thefts were likely tied to organized crime.
With help from Boston police, the FBI and other law enforcement agencies, Seekonk police found and recovered the stolen dirt bikes from various storage units in the Boston area.

Lawrence police arrested the suspect, 19-year-old Lawrence resident Juan Miguel Morel Marte, on Wednesday and charged him with receiving stolen property over $1,200.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
