If you don't need to go out Tuesday afternoon, you should probably stay put.

Lots of localized flooding is reported around the City of New Bedford.

Deputy D-P-I Commissioner Zeb Arruda has toured some of the flooded areas, and doesn't like what he sees.

"Vehicles are having a hard time getting in and out of the city off of 195 and that neck of the woods, and also Route 18, from Coggeshall Street to Downtown is completely shut down." said Arruda.

Arruda says the storm drain system will eventually catch up, but right now there is extensive flooding around New Bedford.
