The indoor amusement center is set to close its doors in the middle of January.

Round One in Taunton has been in business at the Silver City Galleria since the Spring of 2015. According to a post on Reddit from user Arcade Craziness, the indoor amusement center is set to permanently close on Sunday, January 17 due to the loss of the lease.

We called Round One on Friday, December 11 and a manager confirmed this news over the phone. The doors will be shut at 10 p.m. that day and will remain closed for good.

According to a sign posted on the door of the building, the staff expresses gratitude to their community. “We would like to thank each and every one of our customers for their loyal support since our opening.”

The sign on the door also provides all of the information regarding game cards, club cards, and credit and redemption tickets. Another Round One location in the Holyoke Mall will remain open. Game Cards can still be used at the Holyoke location as well as the Club Cards. However, Credit and Redemption Tickets will not be available for refund.

The location will be open during its normal hours until the closing on Sunday, January 17, 2021.
