Republican leader Andrew McCarthy has sent a formal letter to House Intel chairman Adam Schiff (D-California), reminding him of a rule that allows Republicans one day of the hearings to bring in any witnesses they wish to introduce. It appears Schiff forgot to strike this rule before proceeding with the impeachment inquiries.

House Rule IX, Clause 2 (j) (1) states that The Minority is entitled to one additional day of related hearings at which to call their own witnesses if a majority of the Minority Members make their demand before the committee's hearing is gaveled closed.

Oh, snap! This is a whopper for Schiff, whose Andy Kaufman eyes must have gone full Latka when he opened that letter.

Here's the letter:

If it were up to me, I'd bring in Hunter Biden, Christopher Steele, Eric Ciarramella, Glenn Simpson (Fusion GPS), Adam Schiff, and his staffer Sean Misko who worked with Ciarramella at the National Security Council.

It seems that Schiff was harvesting staffers specifically from National Security Council members who were in the Trump White House. Misko was hired the same month by Schiff that Ciarramella leaked the Trump call with Zelensky. Abigail Grace was hired by him in February.

This ought to be the best day for the impeachment hearing yet. Get your popcorn!
