While much of the the talk since the Boston Celtics were awarded the number one overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft Lottery has focused around the team selecting Washington freshman Markelle Fultz, there seems to be traction to the idea that the C's might have another player in mind for the honor.

Multiple reports have circulated, over the past few days, that the C's are looking into selecting Kansas swingman Josh Jackson, instead of taking Fultz.

Jackson's stock has skyrocketed over the past few weeks and, according to sources close to the team and an opposing GM, the C's are keeping close tabs on the Jayhawks' freshman.

In his only season at Kansas, Jackson flourished, averaging 16.3 points, 7.4 rebounds and three assists per game.

With the draft just a week away, there are plenty of things that can happen, but as of right now that the C's are in the driver seat, no mater what move they wish to make regarding the pick.
