Boston Legacy FC Unveils First Light Kits for 2026 Season

"It's a new dawn for the city of Boston," as the Bay State gears up (quite literally) for some serious girl power.

Boston Legacy FC will kick off its season on Saturday, March 14, 2026, with team members wearing brand new kits, commonly referred to as uniforms.

Boston Legacy FC Debuts First Light Kits

To mark the big unveil of the new threads in its inaugural season, the Boston women's pro soccer team turned to a famous face with local ties to voice its kit-reveal video: actress and Massachusetts native Elizabeth Banks.

"Say hello to soccer's newest threat in Boston's newest threads," Banks said in the promotional video.

The new First Light threads are described "clean, confident, and unmistakably Boston."

Boston Legacy FC's Celebrity and Olympian Investors

Banks is one of the many investors in the team, which also includes former Olympian and Massachusetts native Aly Raisman, and Boston Celtics GM Brad Stevens and his wife Tracy.

The team is owned by an all-female ownership group, with assistance from the investors.

Boston Legacy FC Kit Design and Sponsors

The kits feature the team's crest on the top left as well as the logos for the team's brand sponsors, including TJ Maxx, Voya Financial, and Hyundai.
