The Massachusetts Gaming Commission says an answer regarding a Region C Casino license will be coming soon.

An announcement released by the Commission on Wednesday stated that a series of meetings that will begin next Tuesday.

The meetings will take place at the Shaw's Conference Center in Brockton and will include three days of presentations and deliberations before a final decision is rendered.

That final decision is expected no later than April 29.

Massachusetts Gaming and Entertainment is the lone remaining bidder for a commercial gaming license as they seek to build a casino in Brockton.

However, the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe has gotten land put into Federal trust and has already broken ground on their First Light Resort and Casino.
