More than 3,440 pounds of chicken breakfast sausage made by a Massachusetts food manufacturer has been recalled because an allergen was not listed on the product label.

According to Mass Live.com, DiLuigi Foods Inc., based out of Danvers, is recalling 3,448 pounds of chicken breakfast sausage. The packages did not list soy lecithin as a product on the product labels.

"The items were shipped to Trader Joe's locations in 13 states including Massachusetts, Maine, New York, New Hampshire and Vermont."

The recalled chicken breakfast sausages were produced and packaged between Aug. 10 and Aug. 24. The recalled items have the establishment number "P-4398" inside the USDA mark of inspection.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), there have been no reports of adverse reactions due to consumption.

People are urged not to eat the sausages and to throw the items away or return them to the place of purchase.
